The clinician can choose from adhesives made from hydrogel, acrylic, or hydrocolloid.
DeRoyal’s Hydrocolloid Temperature Probe Covers are designed to reduce the risk of epidermal stripping in the NICU as well as providing the secure attachment needed for gathering vital information about the neonate. Our pectin-based hydrocolloid covers protect fragile skin from adhesives; reduces risk to epidermal layers as they continue their post-partum maturation; and allow the removal or relocation of probes without disrupting skin integrity.
