ECOMED Pty Ltd is a marketing and distribution company that is focused on providing product solutions to Critical Care & Diagnostic segments of the Health Care market in Australia.

The Australian market for Health Care Industry providers and suppliers is different to most other markets in the world. Customer expectations and needs are amongst the highest of any developed country, yet we have the lowest population density of any developed nation in the world.

Australia has a population of 21 million people, scattered over a continent that has a similar land mass to that of the United States or Europe. To establish a truly effective operation that comprehensively covers the market properly is a challenge.

Manufacturers of quality medical products who wish to sell into the Australian market face a dilemma. The market is not big enough to sell directly, and there are few distributors in Australia who provide a truly national sales and after sales support network.

Capabilities

Our head office in Sydney is 720m² (7750 square feet) in size, comprising office, service workshop and warehouse facilities. We are situated in Seven Hills, geographically central to the greater Sydney metropolis.

Our team of sales people and dealers cover every city & state of Australia. Effective product promotion and back-up support is delivered to all customers in all areas.

We carry comprehensive stock of all commonly used equipment, spare parts, and consumables in our Sydney warehouse. Monthly we measure stock usage and forecast sales to ensure the right levels of stock to meet demand is maintained. This means we ship the majority of customer orders the same day for delivery anywhere in Australia within 24 hours.

Our customer service team is aware of their importance in a long term relationship with our customers. Like our sales representatives, they are provided with ongoing product training so that a customer's inquiry can be professionally dealt with by one phone call to our national toll free customer service number.

Finally, our service department fulfills an essential part of our equation for success. Too often after sales service is seen as unimportant and sub-contracted to another company to minimize expense.

We believe the products we represent cannot be completely successful in our market without proper after sales service back up provided by our own in-house technicians & biomedical engineers.
